Happy Chinese New Year – year of the Ox
Chinese New Year 2021 starts on 12th of February 2021 and celebrations last up to 16 days, but only the first 7 days are considered a public holiday (February 11th–17th, 2021). The celebrations culminate with the Lantern Festival on February 26th.
This year, Chinese New Year celebrates the Year of the Ox, which is the second of all zodiac animals. In Chinese culture, the Ox is a valued animal thanks to its role in agriculture. Positive characteristics such as hardworking and honest can be attributed to it.
